VirtueMart - Open Source eCommerce Software

Dutch-speaking people now have their first-ever VirtueMart Book! Today Gert Jan Fierlos mailed me that his book "MyStudy VirtueMart" has been published and is available from the Van Duren Media Web Site.

Meanwhile the work on the German VirtueMart Book is nearly finished. It's planned to publish the book at the end of January 2009. The book will be accompanied by the launch of a German VirtueMart web site.

I think this is a perfect solution for people who can't build websites, but who got a Joomla! website made for them with VirtueMart.

Now they can read how to manage the shop themselves without needing to ask for this everytime. Great idea and I will get some books soon.

We recently decided to not only start selling our software through publishers, but also to sell them ourselves. Virtuamart was the only way to go, and being Dutch and a total twat when it comes to website programming, this book comes at the right time.
