Some of these bugs were real "showstoppers" and so it's important that they get finally fixed. Some of them were introduced by new versions of Mambo (cart-empty-on-checkout problem) and Joomla (site URL printed in front of page navigation links).
Against the rule that a maintenance release should not contain changes to the database/table structure, this release will introduce two small changes (changed the type of one field in the table jos_vm_product_mf_xref, added a new field "order_tax_details" to the table jos_vm_orders).
After all VirtueMart will be able to process multiple tax rates in one cart at once and store the single tax totals in the database.
It's important that this version is tested before being released officially. You can get your copy of the beta / preview release on the developer board this evening (CET).
