Last year Google introduced a new new Service called "Google Checkout". Google itself says about it: "Google Checkout is a fast, convenient checkout process that complements your existing process. Customers who use Checkout can buy from you quickly and securely, using a single username and password - and you can use Checkout to process their orders and charge their credit or debit cards."
However, Google Checkout is currently available to U.S. and U.K. merchants only. If you are lucky and live in one of both countries, Google Checkout might be an option for you. If you are even luckier and use VirtueMart for your store(s) you can now start using Google Checkout from within VirtueMart.
There are two payment modules available that can be integrated into VirtueMart without much effort:
- Google Checkout Payments module for VirtueMart (commercial) by PowerSellersUnite and the
- free Google Checkout Virtuemart Plugin by OjO Templates (requires registration).
