UPDATE: The SQL "errors" in the full package have been fixed by now. Seems as if MySQL 4.1 has a syntax that can't be understood by MySQL < 4.1. The updated package now comes with a multi-language backend (germanf, danish, english pre-installed) and more frontend languages: Czech, Croatian, German, Danish, Finnish, French, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Serbian and Swedish.
Today I've finished a helpful package for everyone having problems installing mambo-phpShop:
Mambo 4.5.1a *mambo-phpShop Edition*.
This is a modification of the original Mambo 4.5.1a distribution with the following "tweaks" and features:
- The Complete __mambo-phpShop e-commerce Application__ is pre-installed:
- 1 Component
- 1 Main Module (already published)
- 5 additional Shop modules (only the "Cart Module" is published)
- 2 Mambots for mambo-phpShop (1 for Search, 1 for Content - both published)
- Instead of Solarflare, the default Template is Solarflare II, which is more reliable and looks better with mambo-phpShop.
- HTMLArea3_xtd Mambot Edition is pre-installed and the default WYSIWYG Editor.
This is not much, but this is all you need to have Mambo ready for e-commerce. You can use this distribution in the same way as you would install the standard distribution: Just unpack, upload and run the web-based installer.
