The VirtueMart Forum has a lot of visitors and much traffic indeed. Although the Forum was moved to a dedicated server in September 2007, it showed that there was not enough RAM to keep up with the steady stream of visitors (also because it had to share the RAM with the Developer Portal).
So now we're moving the Forum to a complete new server at server4you.de, which has 4GB RAM (that should be enough). That's why the Forum probably won't be available from time to time on Wednesday, Oct 29 from 19:30 - 22:00.
