Back from holidays! First a big thanks to all who helped out at the forum and who supplied patches and fixes. mambo-phpShop cannot only be a one-man project, but it must have a strong and creative community. So if you ever find a bug, improve a functionality or develop something new: Please post / provide it to the community here! I need your help...(it happened that I accidentally read about a patch for the authorize.net function which is still not stable)

I'm searching for beta testers who are able to test and debug
- PayPal IPN,
- authorize.net payment gateway functionality,
- UPS shipping costs calculation,
- product rate/review system.
mambo-phpShop is still in need for a developer team. This script is too much for one developer. I want to build up a project structure with 3 or 4 developers acting together. You are the right one if you can code php while sleeping, if you deeply know the mambo-phpShop code and the Mambo API and if you are creative, full of ideas and reliable (That's not too much, he? ;-) ). I've had contact to some interested developers in the past, but they all seem to have lost contact to mambo-phpShop...
Now the interesting part: I just want to keep you informed about the actual state of development for version 1.2.
New: SearchBot
A SearchBot is a new little script that does individual searches - also for components (Arthur Konze recently finished a search bot for his AkoBook component). So mambo-phpShop now will too have a search bot (phpshop.searchbot.php). If you do a regular Mambo search, the mambo-phpShop searches the product table for products which contain the keyword. It returns the search result, which is displayed together with the search results of all other SearchBots. A click on a search result link leads you to the details page.
The Mambot mosproductsnapshot has been rewritten and will be available to fit into the new Mambo 4.5.1 mambot - version.
New: UPS Shipping costs calculation
Version 1.2 will contain a very basic script for dynamically calculating the shipping costs depending on the weight via XML using ups.com. I just integrated a code snippet from http://forums.phpshop.org. It still requires a lot of testing.
Improved: mambo-phpShop module
The new module version will make use of the new parameter system. You will be able to switch category display type from the standard link list to dTree display (dTree module will be integrated into the main phpshop module). The new "List all Products" link can be turned on or off. The display of the Product Search field can be turned on or off. And last but not least the "mini cart" with the "Show Cart" link and the products-in-cart count with total $ can be turned on or off.
New: Mini - modules
The Product Search field and the Mini Cart will be available as individual Mambo modules. So you can place them somewhere else in your Mambo site.
