VirtueMart 1.1.0 beta1 is there!
After a long phase of development it is time to release a first beta version of VirtueMart 1.1.0. Please note that the beta status means "released for testing". You should not use this version of VirtueMart to build up a real online store because we and you don't know which bugs are still in there. Especially a blind update of an existing VirtueMart store might be very risky. As we saw with Joomla! 1.5 beta, a beta can still be buggy.
So if you find a bug please don't hesitate to report it at the Bugtracker.

Payment and Shipping module APIs have not been changed, so these modules will still be compatible. Please note that the "Multiple Vendors" feature has not been implemented and won't until 1.1.0 final has been released. As it turned out, this feature requires planning and much work.
