A week ago I've announced the release of the first version of VirtueMart for today. This release date is not realistic any more.
Currently a small team of 4-5 people prepares a first internal beta version that can be tested for bugs and full functionality. After that we will release a public beta version to people who want to test VirtueMart.
VirtueMart will introduce a lot of internal changes in the code. For all developers which had and have to deal with mambo-phpShop it's important to know what will change. Read more about that in the forum topic.
As for now I guess that the first VirtueMart version will be released between 14.10.2005 - 19.10.2005. I hope that we can achieve this goal, but please don't mind if it's one week or two more.
