I hope you don't mind the 2-day downtime of my site...I will be moving to another server this or next week. This will eventually mean another downtime. But then the site will be stable.
{product_snapshot:id=8,false,false,false,left} But anyway: I'm proud to announce the first Mambot for mambo-phpShop users called mosproductsnap.
{product_snapshot:id=2,true,true,true,right} The Mambot is able to translate a specific syntax beginning with { product_snapshot:id=... into a so-called product snapshot. So it shows the product image and name of a given product (specfied by id) everywhere in your content. It's configurable to additionally show price, short description and an "Add-to-cart" link or not. You can see it in action in this article.
I'll provide the Mambot the next days. I'll have to do some testing and enhancing on it. Please post your feature requests to a phpShop-Mambot into the forum or to this article. Maybe I can build in some of them.
I have finished the creation of a HTMLArea3(_XTD) Addon. So you have the ability to easily insert the complete { product_snapshot:id... } tag into your content with your favourite WYSIWYG editor.
