{product_snapshot:id=18,true,true,true,right} I've released the Mambot MosProductSnapshot today. You can grab your copy from my filebase, category: Misc. It comes with an Addon for the WYSIWYG Inline Editor HTMLArea3. There are versions for the standard and for the extended version (_xtd 1.0 and 1.5). Included you find installation instructions and a HOWTO.
How does this mambot work?
When a content item is displayed, mambo gets the content from the database and then reads the files in the mambots-directory in alphabetical order. Every mambot is executed. The mosproductsnapshot Mambot searches for the { product_snapshot:id=...}-tag in the content and replaces it by a product snapshot, containing the product name, the image and - if you want - the short description, price and an add-to-cart link.
