In the earlier days the Mambo eCommerce Edition was a release of Mambo with a pre-installed mambo-phpShop. This was a great help for users who wanted to set up a shop.
We want to continue the service to offer a pre-installed version of VirtueMart, but we will switch to Joomla!.
The Joomla! eCommerce Edition will be a bundled package of Joomla!, VirtueMart, all VirtueMart modules and mambots, joomlaXplorer and Letterman. Since Joomla! 1.0.4 introduced new bugs, we were so kind to include the latest bug fixes.
