You might have heard of the performance and availability problems of the old Joomla! Forge (it was the main developer center for Joomla! based projects and Joomla! itself, hosted and maintained by Sourceforge), which was down for days in the last weeks.
The Joomla! team has decided to build up their own developer platform based on GForge: joomlacode.org.
VirtueMart has been moved over to this new platform as well as the other components maintained by me: joomlaXplorer , Version Manager and DocBook:Collab.
Let's hope that this will be the home of Joomla! software for a longer time! Thanks to the Joomla! team and Rochen for making this new forge possible.
