I'd like to wish ALL of you a merry christmas in the name of the VirtueMart project. This year was a great year for the development of open source software and VirtueMart (bye to mambo-phpShop!) in special.
The next year will bring many great features...let's hope that the VirtueMart community grows and becomes stronger than now. In january I'd like to publish a roadmap for the year 2006, so just stay tuned.
Two days ago I have finished a new feature for the CSV upload, which allows you to "simulate" a CSV import and see the results and details of the CSV fields and values. So you can still fix errors in the CSV file without having trouble with wrong imported products.
Also finished: the "User field manager" like in Community Builder. It allows you to add, move or delete input fields on registration and in the account maintenance. You can also group fields or reorder them. This was one of the most requested features..."How can I add a field >How did you hear about us?< or >Subscribe to our newsletter< to the registration?". Now you can. The changes will be available with the version 1.1.0 of VirtueMart.
