Shortly after the 1.0.8 release we have to announce the availability of VirtueMart 1.0.9 [Code Name: Another Pearl]!
VirtueMart 1.0.9 is a just a "maintenance" release, but it contains important security fixes (that were already part of VirtueMart 1.0.8) and brings full compatibility with Joomla! 1.0.12. It's only a small update, but updating your installation is highly recommended.
As it has turned out, VirtueMart 1.0.8 had introduced some annoying bugs that needed to be fixed as soon as possible. We are really sorry for any inconvenience caused by this quick update! Updated packages are available from our download section.
The following bugs have been fixed:
- PayPal IPN times out (order status is not updated)
- Category Reordering doesn't work
- Cannot delete products or categories
- Problem with https redirection on Joomla! 1.0.12
- Authorize.net module doesn't process payments, is always in "TEST Mode"
